Marzing Machine is a mobile, functional art piece that serves as both a site for print exchange and a point-of-sale display for small-format works. Designed to hold and dispense mini prints sized 3.9 x 2.9 inches, the machine draws inspiration from New York City’s vending machine art culture, where artworks are made available to the public through accessible, automated platforms.

Its first mini-print collection, titled Mga Sangkap sa Hain ni Lola, featured a set of small works exploring food as a form of care and domestic narratives. This debut series set the tone for future editions and established the machine’s format for exhibiting curated sets of prints.

Since its launch, the Marzing Machine has traveled across various exhibitions and venues, integrating itself into print-focused events and broader cultural programming. It debuted at the Iloilo Museum of Contemporary Art in 2023 and was part of the Asia Pacific Print Club exhibition at Gravity Art Space in 2024. That same year, it was featured at the Luzon Art Fair and later at the Cultural Center of the Philippines for the creative market during Design Week. In 2025, the machine continued its journey to Mugna Gallery for Echoing Messages and a new edition debuted at Gravity Art Space for Print Fair+@GAS.

A key component of the ongoing Marzing Machine Print Exchanges, the machine provides a platform for artists to produce and circulate mini-edition prints. These exchanges foster collaboration among printmakers while introducing diverse audiences to original works at accessible scales and formats.

By combining the structure of a vending machine with the practices of print distribution, the Marzing Machine offers an adaptable model for exhibiting and exchanging works—situating printmaking within both everyday encounters and formal exhibition spaces.
