Booklat Fundraiser, A group exhibition at 10A Alabama on July 31, 2016.

“Ohayou Murakami-san” First Edition (2016) ink and watercolor on paper 9 x 12 inches

A print series based on the book titles of Haruki Murakami. I made this print as an exhibition piece for a fundraising group exhibit called “Booklat”, a book-themed art exhibit that was held in 10A Alabama. I chose to focus on nine books by Haruki Murakami namely: Sputnik Sweetheart, Dance Dance Dance, The Wind-up Bird Chronicle, Norwegian Wood, 1Q84, After Dark, What I Talk About When I Talk about Running, Kafka on the Shore, and The Elephant Vanishes.

This work was one of the first designs I produced into a washi tape. A thin and wide version was produced in limited editions.
