Paper Route at Luzon Art Fair is a showcase of editioned works by Filipino printmakers who have exhibited both nationally and internationally. The project traces the journeys of prints that have reached audiences beyond Luzon and now extends each artist’s reach to new viewers in the Luzon region.

Happening from October 9 to 12, 2025 at Bulwagang Kanlahi, Tarlac City, Paper Route at Luzon Art Fair highlights the circulation of Filipino printmaking across borders—through residencies, exhibitions, and exchanges—while making its debut at Luzon Art Fair.

Paper Route traces how Filipino printmaking moves across borders—through residencies, exhibitions, and exchanges—while reaffirming its roots in regional practice. By featuring artists whose works have traveled internationally, the exhibition underscores the power of print as both a portable medium and a connector of communities.

Featured artists include Andrei Salud, Dennis Valenciano, Don Kusuanco, Eze Arce, Gabi Nazareno, Ina Palacio, Jet Cunanan, Joeffry Pradas Casan, Leah Divino Samson, Melai Arguzon, Tktk Feminist Printmakers with Yllang Montenegro, Gale, Mariel Sandico, Elaine Lopez Clemente, Jing Sinay-Ocampo, and Grace Corpuz; Res Cruz Flores, Rey Concepcion, Tin Palattao, and printmakers with traveling prints. Collectively, their works represent a vibrant spectrum of Filipino printmaking—ranging from traditional techniques to contemporary experiments.

As a special treat for fairgoers, Marz Today Studio invites guests to test their curatorial instincts through Provenance Puzzle, an interactive game where participants guess where select prints have previously been exhibited. According to organizer Marz Aglipay, this playful activity not only brings audiences closer to the histories of each work, but also gives them the chance to start their very own print collection with prizes they can win by playing the puzzle.

Paper Route Provenance Puzzle

Organized by Marz Today Studio, co-organizer of Print Fair+ at Gravity Art Space, Paper Route underscores the importance of circulation: just as prints are editioned to be shared, this exhibition seeks to connect artists with new audiences in Luzon while situating their practice within global conversations.
